Het is zomer en we kunnen weer genieten van alle openlucht festivals. Wij
zijn in de gelukkige gelegenheid om met onze band er deze zomer een flink aantal mee te
pikken.
Over een paar weken vertrekken we naar "Americana International" in Nottingham,
Engeland. Buiten de Ranch Girls & Ragtime Wranglers staan o.a. BR549, Sonny Burgess,
George Hamilton the 4th, Roy Wood, de Extraordinaires en Suzie Quatro op het podium. Het

Een paar weken later vertrekken we naar de VS. De Ranch Girls zowel als Miss Mary Ann
spelen in de staten Illinois, Wisconsin en Minnesota. De meest recente informatie over

Als we net terug zijn uit de VS kunnen we alweer doorreizen naar Ertvelde in België.
Waar? Ja, Ertvelde, een klein dorp in de buurt van Antwerpen. De Ranch Girls & Ragtime
Wranglers kunnen niet wachten tot “Rockabilly Day” op 24 augustus 2003. Meer

Weer een paar weken later, 13 september, hebben we ons jaarlijkse uitstapje naar Spanje.
Deze maal speelt Miss Mary Ann op het "High Rockabilly Festival" in Barcelona.

Nog een leuk festival, niet meer in de zomer, maar nog wel in de open lucht, is het All
American Weekend in Lommel Belgie, zie ook: http://www.allamericanweekend.be
Ook het jaarlijks terugkerende festival "Rhythm Riot" in Engeland komt eraan.
Miss Mary Ann speelt hier 23 november 2003. Ondergetekende Joe Sixpack heeft hier zijn
debuut op steel-gitaar in de begeleidingsband van Frankie "True Blue" Miller.
Hier ook te zien zijn: Young Jesse, Lazy Lester, Big Al Downing, Billy Lee Riley en de

Heel leuk dit alles ...... het enige minpuntje is het uitstel van onze opnames. We blijven
maar studio data vooruit schuiven, maar er komt dit jaar sowieso wat uit, misschien een
vinyl single of toch nog een volledig nieuwe CD.
Over onze website: we werken aan een nieuwe openingspagina die wat gebruikersvriendelijker
zal zijn. Ook is nu ons gastenboek geopend. We nodigen iedereen uit te reageren!

Summer is here and so are the open air festivals. We are very happy to have the
opportunity to attend at a lot of these festivals this summer.
Just a few more weeks and we will leave for "Americana International" in
Nottingham in the UK. Except the Ranch Girls & Ragtime Wranglers acts like BR549,
Sonny Burgess, George Hamilton the 4th, Roy Wood, the Extraordinaires and Suzie Quatro

A few weeks later we will leave for some shows in the USA in Minnesota, Illinois and

Then, barely back from our US adventure, we will travel to Ertvelde in Belgium. Where?

So nice, all of this ...... the only small disadvantage is the postponing of our
recordings. We keep shifting recording dates, but for sure we will have a release this
year, maybe another vinyl 45rpm, if not a full length CD.
