13th official release

Well, it took us forever but finally we succeeded. Our new CD came out last December on our own label "Homebrew Records". It holds 15 songs from which 11 are self-penned. We feel honoured by having these great guests playing along with us: Deke Dickerson; Carrie Luz Rodrigues; Jimmy Roy and Tom van Vliet.

It will be available in the shops in most countries and on this site.

New bassplayer

Patrick played his last show with us in London last November. We are doing shows now with our new bass-player: Huey Moor, former frontman of the Hillbilly Stringpickers. Come and see our new attraction. Check this site for all the gigs we have scheduled.

NEW CD OUT NOW!

Hi there, here's my first solo CD "Mad Mama"!

The CD is out on Goofin' Records from Finland and it contains 15 songs of my favorite artists like Charline Arthur, the Collins Kids, Rose Maddox, Patsy Cline and Goldie Hill. Together with my Ragtime Wranglers we tried to sound a little different from the Ranch Girls, though you can hear my partner Mary Lou on a few of the tracks.

This smaller line-up already toured France last month. With the new band-outfit and this different repertoire we had a lot of fun! The release party will be held after the summer holidays in one of Rotterdam's leading live-clubs.

The price is $19 incl. shipping outside Europe, $16 incl. shipping in Europe, f40,- for the Netherlands.

Orders: send an IMO, cheque or cash to P.O. Box 21685, 3001 AR Rotterdam, Netherlands. With your order please print your name and address clearly.

You can also order at "Goofin' Records" in Finland.

Miss Mary Ann, Rotterdam, 1 july 2000.

FULL REPORT ON US-TOUR

Tio Leo's, San Diego Ca

Rhythm Room, Phoenix Az

Bluebird Theatre, Denver Co

Their trip started in Seattle, down the West-coast to San Diego, then crossing Arizona and New Mexico to end in Denver. The band travelled through six States: Washington, Oregon, California, Phoenix, New Mexico and Colorado, driving about 5000 miles.
The first show was at the Tractor Tavern in Seattle. The Support act "Johnny Deluxe" was followed by the "Gun St. Girls" with their vintage burlesque show before the Ranch Girls finished this exceptional Tuesdaynight in Seattle.

Next the band was headed for haunted house "The White Eagle" in Portland. On the same bill were the "Countrypolitans", who also supplied their backline and PA. (See the poster below.) After this second show the band already sold out almost all merchandise.

Above: breakfast in Portland with Roger and Sabrina from the "Countrypolitans".

Two days of driving took the band to Los Angeles. They played at a packed Rudolpho's on the Fridaynight, supported by the "Billy Boppers". Next in line was a show at San Diego's well known Mexican restaurant Tio Leo's on the Saturdaynight and back in Los Angeles at the Culver Saloon on Sundaynght. Thanks to the "West-Coast Pin-Ups" for the use of their equipement.

After an extremely hot desert drive the band arrived at "The Rhythm Room" in Phoenix City Arizona where "Heather Rae and her band" were the support act. Next day they were headed for "The Club" in Las Cruces New Mexico.

Their journey ends with a few shows in Colorado. The casino-shows in Central City were much fun. Another highlight on this tour was the show at the beautiful Bluebird theatre in Denver. The Ranch Girls and Ragtime Wranglers were supported by wester-swing outfit "Chester Everett & his Ranch Rhythmaires" (below) and rockabillies "The Blue Ribbon Boys". The tour is finished with a BBQ including jam-session with members from the same two outfits.
